A chance encounter on 9th Avenue between two Italian Americans awakens a trail of memories, traditions, and delicious recipes. A story about the start of a new friendship over some pasta and a glass of wine.

The idea was born listening to the story of a girl friend of ours during the evening of her first date, so we found it interesting and fun to develop that anecdote in a plot that could play on the disparity of the sexes and the equivocation.&nbsp;

LOVE THOUGHTS (Pensieri d'amore)

South of Italy, XIX century. A couple of brigands are chased in the woods. The man has a bounty on his head and is terrified while the woman takes care of their newborn. They will be safe beyond the river, where they have planned to abandon their son to some gang members in order to run faster. But the woman secretly hides the desire to keep the baby...

MILLE SCUDI

Sitting at the same table are a conservative, working-class father, a loving mother who is a little too devoted to her husband, a grown-up man who is still trapped in playing the role of the good son, and an unexpected guest of impeccable manners. Something that has always divided them, yet has been kept under wraps for decades, is about to emerge. Will they finish lunch and get to their dessert in one piece, or will this family's harmony be irreparably damaged at the first meatball? By playing with important national traditions like the passion for football and the regularity of Sunday lunch, “In Zona Cesarini” portrays, with ironic realism, four characters immersed in the type of everyday family life so common to all of us, made up of precarious balancing acts and tough but necessary confrontations, Bon appetit, and have a good Sunday!

It’s a dark night when Mauro wakes up believing that an insect has entered his ear. After doing some research on the internet, the man is convinced of being the victim of the “Scleroderma Domesticus”, a dangerous parasite that slips under the skin creating strange bruises. During a madness night, Silvia, his wife, will realize that the husband's paranoia is hiding something more fearsome and ruinous.

SCLERODERMA DOMESTICUS

Visually exploring the emotional complexity of a breakup, Rumori has at its core how the lack of understanding and communication between two people can destroy a relationship. Introspective, subtle and beautifully melancholic, the short film stands as a summary of the endless conversations and sleepless nights experienced as two people gradually drift apart and disappear from each other's minds. Set in a house in the Italian countryside, we find the characters in the film, played by Andrea Arcangeli and Matilda De Angelis, stuck in a loop of internal arguments. They share the same space, yet they are unable to see and perceive one another. They live for each other, yet they are blind to each other's needs. Feeling trapped and alone within this space, the house becomes a metaphor for their stagnant and decaying relationship. As a true reflection of our world, Rumori argues that to stand still is to disappear. The only way out of a toxic dynamic is to embrace change, transform and move forward.

RUMORI

With the typical coldness of board game rules and instructions, a Merchant tells the regret of a man isolated from the world. With the Man, only a family photo, replacing the affections, and a roll of film that spends his life rewinding, in an attempt to give it, and give to him, a meaning. Despite everything, this is also a love story.
