The seminal Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth was Morrison's first work with Batman and his rogue's gallery. A key influence on The People's Joker, it also forms the foundation piece for Morrison's lauded later run on the Batman comic, particularly their conception of the Joker's "super-sanity".
