Shot on Mini DV tape to mirror the home-movie, CLASS OF 2020 observes East Hampton High School's annual graduation ceremony, held atypically in the face of our global pandemic, socially-distanced by car. The piece captures the chaos and strangeness of this otherwise commonplace event, documenting the surreal nature of the pandemic age while hinting at larger questions about American ritual and the uncertainty facing 2020 graduates.
