Structures of resistance are powered by the hopeful who inhabit them, like individual fibres of a muscle, contributing their strength to a collective resilience. Radical, expansive inclusion facilitates collaboration, imagining the future as a restored whole, with a history and home emancipated from colonial display.

This experimental browser-based film investigates the networked afterlives of ethnographic photographs from the 19th-century colonial publication 'The People of India' as they circulate through the New York Public Library’s digital archive. Through performative interventions and acts of Electronic Civil Disobedience that corrupt the archive’s HTML code, the artist transforms the website itself into a site of protest.
