Cardiff Animation Festival was born from our love of animated short films. We’ve fallen in love, had our minds opened and changed, and felt every emotion we can name (and some we can’t) sitting in a cinema watching animated short films.

Short film programmes give you a chance to see what some of the greatest animators in the world are making right now, and this programme is no exception! Showcasing an eclectic and diverse mix of voices, styles, techniques and stories from around the world, this curated programme brings together some of our favourite films from this year’s animation festival circuit. They’ll make you laugh, they’ll make you cry, they’ll make you love animation even more. We want to share them with you.

Ganed Gŵyl Animeiddio Caerdydd o’n cariad at ffilmiau byr wedi’u hanimeiddio. Rydyn ni wedi cwympo mewn cariad, wedi agor a newid ein meddyliau, ac wedi teimlo pob emosiwn y gallwn ei enwi (a rhai na allwn ni), wrth eistedd mewn sinema yn gwylio ffilmiau byr wedi'u hanimeiddio.

Mae rhaglenni ffilmiau byr yn rhoi cyfle i chi weld beth mae rhai o animeiddwyr gorau'r byd yn ei wneud ar hyn o bryd, a dyw'r rhaglen hon ddim yn eithriad! Gan arddangos cymysgedd eclectig ac amrywiol o leisiau, arddulliau, technegau a storïau o bob rhan o’r byd, mae’r rhaglen hon wedi’i churadu yn dod â rhai o’n hoff ffilmiau o gylchdaith gŵyl animeiddio eleni ynghyd. Byddan nhw'n gwneud i chi chwerthin, byddan nhw'n gwneud ichi grio, byddan nhw'n gwneud i chi garu animeiddio hyd yn oed yn fwy. Rydym am eu rhannu gyda chi.
