The sixteenth edition of Mizna’s Twin Cities Arab Film Festival (TCAFF) will return to Minneapolis–St. Paul September 28–October 2, 2022.

For the second year, the festival will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online film screenings and events. The festival will open at the Walker Art Center on September 28 with a screening of Memory Box, directed by celebrated Lebanese artist-filmmaker duo Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige. Khalil Joreige will be in attendance for a post-screening discussion.

During September 29–October 2, the in-person screenings will take place at Trylon Cinema, located in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis. The online screenings will be hosted through Mizna’s virtual cinema platform, with most screenings accessible across the US. A select few films will be available for international virtual viewing.

All-Access Passes and individual tickets for in-person and virtual screenings will be available to book in advance, and discounted tickets will be available for students, seniors, low-income audience members.

Full festival schedule to be released soon.
