A century after the birth of the iconic Hora dance, this vibrant Israeli documentary revisits the dream that set a nation in motion. Through the voices of pioneering choreographers, dancers, and cultural leaders, the film uncovers the remarkable women who infused Israeli folk dance with diverse styles and movements—bridging East and West to shape a shared cultural identity.

Blending vivid archival footage, lyrical animation, and contemporary scenes from rehearsals, festivals, and performances, Hora traces how a communal circle dance became both a national symbol and a living bridge between generations.

As the rhythms of tradition meet the pulse of modern life, the film poses a poignant question: can the spirit of Israeli folk dancing continue to thrive in a rapidly changing world—or is it destined to fade into history?
