Set against the sweeping rivers and lush expanse of the Brazilian Amazon, this evocative documentary uncovers the little-known world of Moroccan Jewish descendants who have called the region home for more than two centuries.

In remote communities shaped by both the jungle and the diaspora, families carry forward rituals, names, and traditions that trace directly back to their North African ancestors. The film journeys from the historic synagogue of Belém to forest-entwined cemeteries where memory persists even as nature reclaims the stones, revealing a community whose identity has been forged across continents and sustained against the odds.

Through intimate portraits and breathtaking landscapes, it illuminates a story of faith, resilience, and cultural endurance in one of the most isolated—and extraordinary—corners of the Jewish world.
