Season 3 of Shtisel, the popular Israeli series about the joys and tribulations of a Haredi family living in Jerusalem’s Geula neighborhood, launched in Israel on December 20, 2020, and is coming to Netflix in Spring 2021. We are pleased to be able to offer a sneak peek of the first three episodes here on Eventive. According to one of the shows stars, Doval’e Glickman, Shtisel isn’t about religion. "It’s about relationships between people that have desire, love and jealousy. It’s the religion that makes the drama deeper and the conflict stronger because they have to stand before God every day.”
Shtisel Season 3 Sneak Peek presented by the Israel Center of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, in cooperation with Milwaukee Jewish Film and Tapestry: Arts & Ideas from the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC.
The episodes will be available for viewing Thursday, March 18 through Sunday, March 21. Hebrew with English subtitles.
Join us for a talkback on Zoom Sunday, March 21 at 3:00 PM with Shtisel writer and co-creator Yehonatan Indursky, moderated by Uria Roth, Milwaukee Community Shaliach.
