Sara Morgan Greene is a 20­-year circus veteran and 43-year-old single mother with a big dream—to start her own tented circus. Her stepmother Soos, who mentored her creatively throughout her life, was recently diagnosed with ALS. Sara feels now is the time to fulfill her dream, not just because she gained the confidence needed to direct a show through recent work but because she needs to share the culmination of her life's work and her big dream with her stepmother before she passes away. Her obstacles are not just financial and time-based, but she has to overcome an uphill battle with the local fire chief regarding permitting, mostly due to the loss of life under a different big top in the same state the previous year.
