Felicia and Musa is a short film following a day in the life of Felicia as she goes to the local traditional market to buy food for her family, and of Musa, who sells her his produce. This simple interaction--one that happens countless times a day around the world--is made dramatic in the face of unsafe food, food contaminated with viruses, bacteria, and other microbial pathogens, and their potential to cause harm to Felicia and her family. Through this story we are introduced to food safety, the risks unsafe food poses to human health and nutritional security, and the urgent need to ensure that food is safe to eat in every market around the world so that all, especially young children, can thrive.
