From the birthplace of Tennessee whiskey comes a lost-anfound tale of the first African American Master Distiller on record.  Through a short film starring Jeffrey Wright and a companion virtual interview, we learn the story of freed former slave Nathan “Nearest” Green; the young white man who made Green’s whiskey famous under his own brand, and the African American couple who have resuscitated Nearest’s distillery, his family and his legacy two centuries later.
