Textile artist Melinda Schwakhofer's art quilt Road to Oklahoma tells the story of how the Muscogee people came to be in Oklahoma. The film shows how Melinda made the artwork, but also relates the powerful story of the Muscogee people's removal from their homelands and the long-lasting impact on Melinda's own family and personal story. Melinda is an enrolled member of the Muscogee Nation.
