Director Biography - Carlyn Hudson
Carlyn Hudson is a filmmaker originally from the great state of Texas, currently disappointing her family by calling Los Angeles home. Her latest short film, NICE ASS, premiered at SXSW and is now a Vimeo Staff Pick. She recently wrote and directed an 8-episode digital series called BOSS CHEER for Brat Studios, which has nearly 2 million views on the pilot alone and was picked up by Snapchat. Carlyn’s first feature as co-writer/director, THE BIG SPOON, starring Zach Knighton (Happy Endings, Magnum PI) and Isabelle McNally (Bates Motel) premiered at Austin Film Festival in 2016 and is distributed by Gravitas Ventures. Her next feature, KATELYN VS, a sharp YA comedy about sex ed, is in development at a place she can’t-name-just-yet.
