Director's Biography - Stephen Tramontana
Stephen Tramontana is a screenwriter and director specializing in crafting horror and crime stories. He started his career in post-production at the SyFy Channel, working on films such as Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys and Man with the Screaming Brain. He then transitioned to creating his own films and screenplays, finaling at the Austin Film Festival with his horror feature screenplay Welshgate. He subsequently penned horror feature scripts Norman and Haley Hill, which would go on to be ranked in Coverfly's top 1% of horror feature screenplays in 2021. In 2015, he co-wrote and directed the micro-budget horror-comedy Killer Piñata, which soon found a cult following and was included on Amazon UK's "Top 5 So Bad They're Good" list in 2021. He followed Killer Piñata with a series of short films, including Eyelash, Grief Counseling, and A Very Tight Place, an adaptation of the Stephen King short story that was invited to screen at the George Eastman Museum. In 2022, he co-wrote and directed the follow up to Killer Piñata, titled Bride of the Killer Piñata, which is currently in its festival run. He's represented by Bethany Stirdivant and Paul Miloknay of MiloknayWeiner.
