Director Biography - Lynn Kristmanson <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/5987bc20a5f66251514a9fb267a58ab9.jpg" width="108" style="display: inline; float: left; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px;">Lynn has been involved in the arts all her life. From early beginnings as an actor, she moved into the visual arts, earning degrees with distinction in both studio art and art history. As well as creating a line of textile products, she brought her skills as a textile artist to the wardrobe departments of Stratford, Banff Centre, the world of feature film, and her position as a college instructor in surface design. After moving to Newfoundland, she immersed herself in the filmmaking community and stared to write, direct and produce her own short films. Her film Rescue Wife played in local and international festivals and her latest film, Secret Santa is a stop motion apocalyptic comedy. She has continued to paint silk and canvas and work as a freelance designer and is presently collaborating on a feature film and is developing a project with the department of psychology in a Canadian university.<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/94113fa8b42c74ce2e06decc46a4e1f7.jpg">

He coordinated the short film festival “Hazlo en Cortometraje” for the BBVA Mexico Foundation and the Cinépolis Foundation for 9 years. His projects stand out for a constant exploration of the emotions in human faces. Director Biography - Sam Chou <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/c66c772e4994cdb8dc9fb4cfe38501a5.jpg" width="156" style="display: inline; float: left; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px;">Sam Chou is an award-winning series creator and director.&nbsp;Before his films played at festivals like TIFF and Sundance, Sam was a traditional animator on feature films like Osmosis Jones (WB) and Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights before learning how to direct animation, mentoring under legendary animator, Chuck Gammage. Sam developed and directed the comedy series City in Crisis (Mondo, Adult Swim Canada), CG action series Max Steel: Team Turbo (Mattel), and Kody Kapow, an animated adventure series starring Jason Alexander (Universal Kids). He co-created and directed the web series Crime: The Animated Series, which premiered at both Sundance and TIFF and won Best Series for Adults at the Ottawa International Animation Festival in 2014. Sam worked with Mattel in 2014 to produce the short film titled, HE-Man: First Snowfall, which played at Fantasia International Film Festival in 2017.&nbsp;Sam is the creative director of development Look Mom! Connecting long distance intergalactic calls from a remote satellite (not as exciting as it sounds); a bleary eyed and coffee fueled Michael receives a distress call. No one ever receives a distress call. They barely touched on distress calls during his induction day. Director Biography - Matt Riley <img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/eventive-static/7f5d1d718932be1cfbe7231819efa4af.jpg" width="96" style="display: inline; float: left; margin: 0px 1em 1em 0px;">Matt Riley is a Director of Photography based in Bristol in the southwest of the UK. The Operator is the first film he's written and directed. The Operator is an allegory for my own experience of learning about the true extent of the climate crisis, and how helpless and ill equipped a person can feel. It explores the notion of "Climate Grief" as the world heads towards a series of climate and ecological tipping points.
