Trying to end her life, a woman offers herself as a meal to the monster in the woods near her house. But her plan backfires when she wakes up with a thirst for blood and realizes she has joined the ranks of the immortal undead.

Director Biography - A.K. Espada

A.K. Espada is an Atlanta-based Writer/Director and Production Designer. Recent short films include I COULD JUST DIE, AND THAT WOULD BE ALL RIGHT, recipient of a Future of Film Is Female Grant and Official Selection at FilmQuest; LAUNDRY NIGHT, currently streaming on Crypt TV; and THIS IS OUR HOME, winner of Best Narrative Short at BEYOND: The Cary Film Festival and Audience Award Winner at Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. A.K.'s feature-length script for THIS IS OUR HOME was selected for the Sundance Screenwriting Intensive, and is an inaugural recipient of the Sundance Horror Fellowship, presented by K Period Media.
