Director Biography - Peter Ricq

Peter Ricq is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, writer, and performer. He has co-created several animated series, including "The League of Super Evil”, and directed music videos for his band, HUMANS. Peter has also released a well-received graphic novel, "Once Our Land”, which is currently being worked into an animated feature. In addition, he published a children’s book titled "Ghosts Are People Too" in 2022. Peter made his live-action directorial debut with "Dead Shack", which was shown at global film festivals, including Sitges, London Fright Fest, VIFF, NIFFF, Toronto After Dark, and Fantasia where it was awarded the Silver Prize for the best Canadian Feature. He is also known for his murals and live music performances.
