TIM TRAVERS AND THE TIME TRAVELER'S PARADOX: It is called the Time Travelers Paradox. In which a scientist creates a Time Machine and kills their younger self. So now a man who should not- can not- exist, somehow does. That is the Paradox, and Paradoxes are impossible.

THE SWEET SPOT: A young girl's overnight stay at a rural daycare takes a dark turn when she discovers she's not the only guest for the evening.

SMILE: When a young woman struggles to smile, her depression becomes something truly monstrous.

ESCAPE: A GHOST STORY: A group of escape room employees must face their fears and overcome a series of murderous puzzles set by a malicious ghost who has haunts the building, or face the dire consequences.

#NOFILTER: #Nofilter addresses the ever-growing issue surrounding Body Dysmorphic Disorder through the eyes of Beth, an insecure twenty-something, who becomes obsessed with an insidious filter, leaving her to question true beauty. It is a cautionary tale for all those obsessed by "likes," being flawless, and thinking that somehow social media is the magical cure-all for happiness.

ANGEL CITY HORROR: Los Angeles, 1951. Detectives George Hard and Glenn O'Brian investigate the disappearance of a mental patient from LA's most notorious insane asylum and discover something evil lurking inside.

CUTTER: A teenage cutter in recovery and her overbearing mother are haunted by a ghost who seeks to keep them at odds. Viewer's Guide: This film depicts self-harm.

Director Biography - Dan Repp, Lindsay Young

Dan Repp is an Austin writer, director and producer. He learned to love all genres of film while studying at the University of North Texas, but there has always been a soft spot in his heart for horror and sci-fi. Since its inaugural festival in 2014, Dan has been the Senior Programmer and Event Director for the Other Worlds Austin SciFi Film Festival. He has produced and acted in two shorts films, “The Encouragement Clown” in 2016 and “It’s History” in 2014.

Lindsay Young is an Austin writer particularly fond of dark comedy and horror. her first short screenplay, “Barney” was a semi-finalist in the SoCal Screenplay Short Competition in 2016. She has worked as a production assistant on short films “Roadside Assistance” and “The Encouragement Clown.” Lindsay has volunteered for Fantastic Fest, Austin Film Festival, and Other Worlds Austin. Currently, she attends a weekly screenwriting group and was thrilled to be a first-time director on “Cutter.
