Letizia Lamartire (Bari, 1987) graduated from both the Conservatory in music and from the Accademia dello Spettacolo UNIKA in Bari, in acting. She then went on studying directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Her graduation short film Piccole italiane (Little Italian Girls) had its world premiere at the 32nd Venice International Film Critics’ Week. We’ll Be Young and Beautiful is her first feature film screened at the 75th Venice Biennale.

Isabella is an ex-pop star from the early 90s. Bruno is a guitar player who accompanies her. They are great friends and partners on stage but, more than that, they are mother and son, united by a symbiotic relationship that seems untouchable and represents a golden cage to them, where they have always been locked up. However, the moment comes when that cage turns out to be too small
