A fourteen-year-old kid, a young woman who smuggles medicines up and down the Italian border with France and a bizarre American tennis teacher who dreams of being a painter. Their lives turn when they come across an illegal migrant. All together, they come up with an absurd plan to help him sneak across the border. ﻿Orso Miyakawa (Monaco, 1992), raised up between Turin, Tokyo and Milan. He worked for more than thirty production among feature films, tv series, short films and videoclip in Europe, the USA and India. His short movies have been presented to several festivals, including Turin and Venice.

This year N.I.C.E. Festival gets to the usual rendez-vous of November into an innovative and renewed formula, which intends to build on the trials launched during the pandemic. This year's selection remains faithful to its mission: knowledge and value of new Italian cinema.
