<p><em>Alma, Jean and Sebastiano, sons of divorced parents, live in Paris in the bourgeois and strange world of their mum. They arrive in Rome to stay with Carlo, their absent italian father who is a nonconforming man, not capable to take care of himself. During christmas holidays spent on the beach with Carlo and her collague Benedetta, all family tensions arise. Nonetheless, Alma believes that one day her family will be united again.</em></p>

This year N.I.C.E. Festival gets to the usual rendez-vous of November into an innovative and renewed formula, which intends to build on the trials launched during the pandemic. This year's selection remains faithful to its mission: knowledge and value of new Italian cinema.
