This documentary tells the story of the 17 World War I veterans found on the Cow Head war memorial through the making of Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador's Gros Morne Theatre Festival’s play "17 Men" by Jeff Pitcher. Both the play and the film act as loving tributes to the men who served Newfoundland in those wars and who lost their lives.
