This student film captures the journey of a racist young man as he discovers beauty within people's differences. After an existential realization, the character learns to see that differences create beauty, and he begins to observe the uniqueness, or the "purple flower," within in those he once hated. The film was created to speak against a series of racially-violent events in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania community.
