From March to June 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, 36 musicians and 2 Engineers located in three countries came together to create 38 recordings. These performances were created by linking 921 audio files, and as many or more video files and photos, created in sequence, moving from musician to engineer, to the next musician and so on...The result was 36 improvised recordings and two composed pieces, with video, photos and drawings. Musicians are listed in the credits in the order that the music and videos were created.
The recordings were made from home by isolated musicians, some thousands of miles away from the others. The power, passion, generosity, vulnerability and strength documented in these gathered performances are testaments to the artists transcending separation. These performances document this strange and painful time of fear, anxiety, change and growth. A time when the connectedness of every soul on our planet became most important and the most obvious concern.
