In the small-town of Overton, Nevada, 1.5 hours north of Las Vegas, the Lost City Museum has been educating its visitors on the pre-history and history of the Moapa Valley since 1935. The museum is a place of pride for its community; however, due to its remote location and low funding, it struggles to remain relevant in our modern day. Its new director archaeologist Mary-Beth Timm tackles the museum’s struggles.
