Every day in the Saloum Delta in Senegal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, many women go to sea. On these islands, men deserted to France, Spain or Italy for lack of work. Women became, in spite of themselves, the heads of families. This documentary turns its gaze on the steps of those who chose to stay.
