    Director Biography - Elizabeth Crummett A912947a40 headshot California-born Elizabeth Crummett is an avid filmmaker and genre lover. Elizabeth has lived in New Zealand for the past eighteen years where she has had the pleasure of collaborating with, and being mentored by, various heavyweight film and visual FX industry players. WETA WORKSHOP and two-time Oscar-winning cinematographer ALEX FUNKE are just two examples of VFX godfathers who have supported her through complex digital and practical Creature FX processes, helping her to achieve a unique visual style. Elizabeth was in her third trimester during production of THE UNDERSTUDY and gave birth to a son during post-production. Aside from watching movies and raising children, she spends her time teaching film production at Massey University in Wellington and is working towards getting her debut feature film off the ground.
