    Born and raised in New York, and entirely self-taught, Brian Karl Rosenthal cut his filmmaking teeth shooting on S-VHS camcorders in High School and editing deck-to-deck. In 2013 Rosenthal launched a geek-oriented YouTube channel which hosted several of his viral fan-films, parodies and assorted shorts to the combined tune of more than 20 million views. In 2019, he was awarded BEST FLORIDA FILM for his short, "Fever", at iHorror Film Festival, BEST TRAILER for "The Last Blockbuster" at 2020's HORRORHAUS FILM FESTIVAL, and most recently BEST FLORIDA FILM for "POV" at 2023's POPCORN FRIGHTS FILM FESTIAL. Rosenthal is currently developing several projects, including a feature adaptation of POV.
