On the corner of 1st Street and Alameda in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo, the legendary album cover-clad Atomic Cafe attracted punk rockers, musicians, and locals alike throughout the ’70s and ’80s. The heart and soul of the cafe was Atomic Nancy, the fun-loving, welcoming, and effortlessly cool owner of this restaurant known for its vibrant nightlife where everyone gathered with one goal in mind: to just have fun.
