When Sarah, a dedicated psychiatry resident, reaches out to the highly regarded Dr. Angela Strong for help, she is desperate to process a traumatic betrayal by a powerful mentor. What begins as a therapy session quickly unravels into something far more complex as Sarah reveals her experience of abuse at the hands of the esteemed Dr. Elizabeth Murray—a woman whose influence extends far beyond the walls of Kelly University. Sarah fears that no one will believe her, but what she doesn’t know is that Angela is all too familiar with the monster she’s describing.

Angela, a seasoned therapist with a past she’s long tried to bury, is shaken to her core as Sarah’s story forces her to confront the ghosts she’s spent decades suppressing. Elizabeth Murray is no stranger to Angela—she was once her tormentor too. Now, faced with the brutal reality that history is repeating itself, Angela must decide whether to remain a passive bystander or step out of the shadows to stop the cycle of abuse once and for all. As she guides Sarah through her pain, she also embarks on her own journey—one that demands she confront her trauma head-on.

Tyranny of Silence is a gripping psychological drama that explores the devastating impact of power and secrecy, the resilience of survivors, and the unbreakable bond formed through shared pain. As Sarah and Angela navigate their intersecting pasts, they find themselves at a crossroads: remain silent, or risk everything to expose the truth. With stakes higher than ever and an institution determined to protect its own, the two women must decide whether justice is worth the cost—and whether they are willing to pay it.
