The cocktail for Little Orphans is a Strawberry-Blueberry Nor'easter Slush Cocktail
In recognition of the delicate flavours of Newfoundland's berries during spring, and the slushy texture for the cooling nor’easters in the fall.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz of Zirkova Together Vodka
- 1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
- Large Handful of Frozen Strawberries
- Large Handful of Frozen Blueberries
- 1 ounce Cointreau or Triple Sec
Recipe:
1. Blend 1 ounce of Zirkova Together with 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice, Handful of Frozen Blueberries and 1/2 oz Triple Sec
2. Pour into Highball glass
3. Blend 1 ounce of Zirkova Together with 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice, Handful of Frozen Strawberries and 1/2 oz Triple Sec
4. Pour mixture over Frozen Blueberry mixture in highball glass for a layered look
5. Garnish with Thyme.
