Trapped inside an enormous diving suit, Nemo is a misfit in his seaside town. When a spaceship crash lands in the field next to his lighthouse, Nemo meets Laika, whose bulky astronaut suit and otherworldly origins make him as much of an outcast as Nemo. In a hostile world, the two boys must rely on each other to survive.
