For May’s offering Ones to Watch will be chatting to local filmmaker and educator Tracy Cullen about her 1998 short, Surfing With William. The film was produced by Pearse Moore at Raw Nerve Productions and features many familiar places and faces from Derry in the 90s, including a pre-fame appearance from pop star Nadine Coyle.
Written by Lisa Burkitt and featuring young local talent Carla Bredin and Sinead Heraghty, it is the story of a young girl who falls in love with her Prince Charming… but that Prince just happens to be the future King of England. It’s a fun and comic tale of growing up and out of love.
