A queer unapologetic take on Invasion of the Body Snatchers, hate comes to small-town Australia, where a young struggling trans filmmaker, Sophie, is the only one who can sense that something is very wrong. Bigotry spreads like a virus following an earthquake that unleashes a parasite that latches onto people, making them increasingly violent. With the help of her friends, Sophie must overpower the parasites and its hosts to keep her and her community out of harm’s way.
