The LGBTQ+ rights movement spent pivotal years combatting erasure and stigma through their activism, and queer artists have been integral and participatory changemakers and cultural bearers within these movements. In this series of shorts, we bear witness to filmmakers documenting how grassroots activists are shaping pathways for communities to see themselves thrive, celebrating uprisings versus perceived disobedience, caring for the environment while envisioning robust futures, creating mutual safe spaces by way of musical connections and rousing queer and trans women and non-binary voices from all over the world to love and be loved. Experience the bitterness alongside the joy, the casualties alongside the victories in the ongoing struggle for us all to be able to, in Mother LaTravious's wise words, "live in a truthful space."

Poems and archival footage of Black history from the Caribbean, United Kingdom, United States, and the African continent become Black people-centered and mental health-affirming rallying calls.
