Outfest presents a collection of shorts from OutSet: The Young Filmmakers Program. OutSet, in partnership with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, was created to empower and educate LGBTQIA young people to tell their stories through film. Fellows between the ages of 16 and 24 participate in a six-month filmmaking lab led by industry professionals and mentored by Outfest alumni filmmakers. Don’t miss this inspiring program of short films written, produced, and directed by the next generation of storytellers.

Prudence, an elderly lady and recent widow, has shut out the world, convinced there is nothing left worth living for. One day she receives an invitation to the home’s Veteran’s Day Dance from her deceased wife. With a wandering mind and aching soul, she sets out to see her wife, and by doing so, lives again.
