In Oaxaca lives a community of sensitive, beautiful, and vulnerable people called the Muxes-a third gender, neither man nor woman. They take care of the elderly, educate, do work for the community, and are creative. They make their own clothing designs and flaunt them like true queens--but the outside world wants to steal their designs. Then one fateful day everything changes in an instant.
