Bella’s father is sick with sickle cell disease. When she finds a duck with a broken wing in the park, she brings it home and as her mother nurses her father, she cares for the injured duck. When the family is whole again and Bella’s father appears looking healthier than he has in months, Bella and her parents walk the duck back to the park and say goodbye to the duck, leaving it to join others flying off into the sunset.

A young girl named Bella meets a duck with a broken wing. She brings the duck home and it begins to fill a void in her family’s lives with laughter and joy.

An animated short film in the Afro-Futurist genre exploring topics of AI and bias. In a distant future, an artificial intelligence named Aero is inaugurated as the world’s first AI leader. However, she soon finds that important worldviews are missing from her databank, including the stories of the historically marginalized and oppressed. A slate of well-known Black actors lend their voices to the film, including Robin Quivers, Ava Raiin, and Hoji Fortuna.

An animated web-series that poignantly explores the timely theme of community versus individual survival through the eyes of a teenager. Set in the near-future, this five-part series transports us to Beau Voda, a hard-fought utopian world where every aspect of life is powered by a miraculous healing water source. In the pilot episode, teenager Blaze reluctantly steps into the esteemed role of Water Bearer with the help of his precocious sister Mia. But when the magical water is tampered with, they discover that their idealistic community may not be as magnanimous as they think.

An elderly woman escapes her mundane reality through her dreams while her great-nephew helps reconnect her to what she's really missing.

Ratul, a young boy in Bangladesh, is magically shown two very different visions of the future. In the first scenario, Bangladesh has been inundated by rising sea levels, causing great suffering; in the second scenario, fossil fuels have been replaced by renewable energy and Bangladesh is prosperous.

Tomorrow

A supernatural being shows Ratul two different visions of the future, teaching him about climate change and fossil fuels.
