Aniksha

In the wake of her arranged marriage Aniksha, a young Mauritian woman, finds her first job at a call centre. As she discovers a new world of possibilities, she has decisions to make.

Set in the hostile, bustling border town of Isiolo in Northern Kenya, we find Sheeko Owiro, a young businesswoman with a hidden trauma, driven to succeed, and Li Chen, an overqualified mine worker hoping to find a new start for himself in Africa. In this sunbaked frontier town, they find their lives stifled, oppressed and manipulated by a real-estate mogul, cut-throat crime lord, and the boss of Isiolo - Mr. Musa.
