Noah, a 12-year-old boy, reflects on his own life in America in the wake of George Floyd's murder, national protests and civil unrest. Still negotiating his own place in society, Noah recalls moments throughout his life when he and his father personally experienced racism. While reckoning with his own loss of innocence, he worries about how to protect his little brother from the same.
