Director Bio/Statement:

J.D. SHIELDS is a writer/director whose credits include EMPEROR OF OCEAN PARK and THE COMPANY YOU KEEP. She’s an alum of the Disney Writing Program and the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. She earned her MFA in Film from Columbia University.
