This documentary is the record of the memories of a group of Palestinian elders, many of whom are veterans from the Nakba in 1948. In their own words, they describe the moments when they became refugees. They described the brutality in which they were deported, or the fear of massacre that made them and their families flee. Their stories of refugee struggles are interspersed with poems of Mahmoud Darwish.
