Sir Jared the Nectarine - Best Documentary Short: PDXFF 2020

“Sir Jared the Nectarine” centers around eccentric seventeen year old dancer Jared Charney Cohen as he embarks on a quest to get an agent at a national dance convention. This quirky docu-comedy dives deep into the uniquely odd world of Jared, a real life Napoleon Dynamite, who can actually dance. We follow him as he attempts to win over judges in a series of competitions at one of the nation’s most prestigious dance conventions where he could potentially be signed by a Hollywood agent.
