Puppet Regime unravels the political repression faced by activists in Oklahoma, which has traditionally been regarded as both a media flyover state and a conservative stronghold. The documentary follows a group of artists that build protest puppets in response to Trump's 2020 Juneteenth rally in Tulsa. Towering 10 feet high, the puppets joined protesters as they interrupted the heavily militarized MAGA block party during Trump's white supremacist rally in one of the most conservative states.
