This film was shot on a budget of $1,000 with a crew of 8 and a cast of kids that had never acted before. We rehearsed with them for months to team build and get them comfortable for camera. They all formed a bond over that time. The shoot itself was also a nightmare, with the set entirely outside, the weather fluctuated between storms, downpours and scorching heat and humidity. Eventually we needed to re-shoot half the film a few months later. It was a miracle it came together.
