  • Note
I Dont Konform is a Navajo heavy metal band which garnered the attention of legendary Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen a few years ago. This is their first music video. To call it an angry expression of generational trauma would be to downplay its impact and the deeper meaning and feelings of loss and sadness and rejection that the feelings stem from. This video, produced by women, and directed by a woman (who lives in Portland, OR), tells the story of a person going through life experiencing rejection, labeling, and marginalization, and in the end, rejecting what they've been allotted by society, and taking their own life back. We hope you watch the entire video and that you recognize the importance of giving work like this an audience.
