
The stigma surrounding DV often leads victims to keep things swept under the rug and tucked away into corners, further perpetuating harmful cycles. I believe that drawers are an important source of household information—a place where things are hidden, cherished, or casually tossed. In this short I take inspiration from both the hidden nature of drawers and the coded languages found in children’s artwork to tell the story of a child who uses their drawings in an attempt to “fix” their home.
