Carly, a Mexican immigrant with a fiercely independent nature, is driven to the point of exhaustion by her racist boss, and impulsively quits her day job as a barista. Feeling depressed, Carly begrudgingly accepts a college friend's invitation to join the Plant Moms of New York- a parenting club started by a famous influencer for folks raising house plants in the concrete jungle.
