The sulfur workers of Mina La Casualidad were thrown out of their village by the military goverment 40 years ago when the mine was closed. They return there every year, hoping for it to become an open-air museum. Even if they don’t inhabit it, the village is theirs now more than ever, because they're the only ones who did not forget it; because there they were happy; because there both their childhoods and their dead were left behind.
